As promised here are the REAL numbers and crazy growth in your taxes I’ve been screaming about for years!!
Blaise Ingoglia we need to look at these numbers as well!
As you can see, we have more than doubled our taxes due to the following below.
There is no reason why we can’t cut 30% from this budget if property tax relief is passed.!!
Hernando County General Fund Growth (2019–2025) ( mostly property taxes and other taxes )
The county’s General Fund grew from roughly $95 million in 2019 to $231 million in 2025.
Official county budget documents confirm the FY2025 adopted General Fund at $231,040,830.
